Yay! It's finally Easter! Unfortunately I did not go to Mass - but I hope I made it up by going to the Easter Field Day that NYU set up for third graders from a migrant school. Beautiful, sunny, HOT day - I got sunburned. I also got really dirty after having a water balloon fight with some people - it was the BEST EVER! mainly because we didn't waste the water balloons - no matter who you threw it to or smashed it on, someone got wet. My team - Di Si Dui - won the first place in the overall games! Harrison and I - the team leaders - didn't think that was possible, but it happened! We think it's because of our kids beasting the tug of war. Seriously - they were such monsters pulling at the rope! Us "adults" had a tug of war too at the end of the field day - sooo fun - I have blisters on my hands now. =D I can't stop saying how fun it was - fun, exciting, crazy, hilarious, chaotic, and one hell of a hullabaloo/lollapalooza. Yes I'm making up words - words can't describe the day! The Easter Egg hunt and the "Chairman Mao says..." game were the best. The kids just dashed out the moment Shi Laoshi said that they could go find eggs and were fighting over the candy, while during "Chairman Mao says..." (like "Simon says...") Kevin tortured the poor little kids. teehee!
I have pictures and videos of the event, to be posted the moment I transfer them in.
Until then - HOMEWORK TIME. -___-"
- P.S. - my legs are sore from working out - and not just working out at a gym, but the training for Sichuan is a lot harder, even though it's just mostly running. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE!! (am I a masochist or what?)
