Temple of Heaven was BEAUTIFUL. It helped that the weather was great. It's a huge open space, with each temple/building/edifice behind each other in succession. The best part was when we got to the main temple, I could clearly see the moon (even though it was still daylight) and the sun - parallel to each other. Tina said that's probably what made Temple of Heaven even more special. Most of the signs said the temples were for the emperor to pray for good harvests.
