This is the last Wednesday night before the semester ended. We had a buffet dinner and evening cruise - dress-up attire required - hosted by NYU. It was awesome - ate and chatted with good friends and had mad fun.

sorry about not posting for a long time - it's because after that last post - China decided to ban blogspot. So I had no access to blogspot for more than a month =( And no - I don't think it was because of my review on Wolverine...

Will be updating pictures soon - but right now am battling jetlag.

Our flight was supposed to leave at 6:30 pm Shanghai time and arrive at 9:30 NY time, but we were ridiculously delayed (because the plane had numerous problems, from propellers to fuel - or so I understood from the heavily accented English by the flight attendants). So we only started leaving Shanghai Pudong airport at around 9:15. 15-16 uncomfortable hours later - we landed! Woohoo! Am so happy to be home, even though it's raining. I had to go through a ton of mail though, and lots of magazines to catch up on, plus cleaning up my books. My clothes are all unpacked and in my closet at least.

And then of all things - I got served! Served with jury duty papers that is. I am going to jury duty on July 15. I know - it's supposed to be tedious and all that - but I am somewhat excited. Just like how I was excited when I went to vote. Sure I waited on line for a while, and sure I went to the wrong polling site and had to go to another one and wait on line again, but I didn't mind. So I'm sure I'll be waiting for a while in the courts, but it's ok. I'm looking forward to experiencing this for the first time.

OMG it's 4:41 in the morning and I REALLY should be getting to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day full of chores and catch up - and then SEEING ALL MY FRIENDS AGAIN! NEW YORK I LOVE YOU!!!!
